1. BMWNA Motorrad 2010-6.gpx – this is the compiled POI file that anyone can use to put all the data onto a GPS unit (even non-Garmin units). Use the Garmin POI Loader program for a Garmin unit. DOWNLOAD FILE
2. BMWNA Motorrad 2010-6.gdb – this is the source file for the above and can be opened with the Garmin MapSource program. It allows someone to use the waypoints individually in a route, or to only select a region to use. DOWNLOAD FILE

The POI and map files include all the official BMW dealers in the USA and Canada. The BMW Dealer list identified as 07.23.2010 was used as the reference and every dealer website was checked for correct info and the URL for the dealer included in the waypoint data.
The current version of MapSource was used to enter the waypoints, so all the address and phone number data shows up in the POIs. Additionally, by using the link between MapSource and Google Earth the locations of the waypoints were checked and placed right at the entrance to the dealership. In some cases this wasn’t far from the Garmin waypoint, in others it was down the street, around the corner, or in a different part of the city. So, this could be the most accurate POI file of BMWNA Motorrad Dealers available right now.
Included in the file is a waypoint for the BMW Club of Northern California that includes a request for corrections or additions to be sent to (lee@leeblake.name). We hope that anyone using it will take the time to help keep it up-to-date. Hence the 2010-6 filename to show that this version was done in June of 2010.
