June brings the start of the clubs fiscal year, and our yearly board of directors election meeting. We will hold our election meeting at 5:00 in the Austria Hof restaurant located at 924 Canyon Blvd. in Mammoth Lakes. We will camp at the Pine Glen Group Camp site #11 just east of town. To get to the Campground take hwy 395 to rt203 toward Mammoth Lakes. Turn right onto Sawmill Cutoff rd. for .1 miles and proceed to the rear of the Shady Rest campground near site #127 to the entrance of Pine Glen Campground.

The Austria Hof Restaurant will allow us to conduct our meeting in one of its group areas while having dinner. I will be giving them a heads up on our approximate numbers a week before the campout so if you plan to attend please give me a call at (703) 984-9019 or send me an e-mail at tourcap@bmwnorcal.org. The tour will leave at 8:00 a.m. from the Denny’s restaurant located at 6455 Owens Dr
Pleasanton, CA 94588 (925) 463-0720. Show up early and grab some breakfast before we head out. If you plan to ride with the tour please arrive with a full tank of gas and be ready for a day of twisting road riding. We will stop for breaks, gas, and lunch along the way to the campground. I plan to take the tour over rt 4 through the Sierras and we will probably stop at the Hays Street Café in Bridgeport for lunch.
