You should include Rainbow canyon during the weekdays.  That's where the jets train.  They get up close and nearly personal as they fly through.

Kernville is a great place to stay as well.  I stayed at the Coral Creek Lodge.  The rooms are very nice and large.  They would consider larger groups if reserved well ahead.  It is not too far from town and is quiet.

Anyone have riding plans for the Death Valley Campout in March? I’m thinking about the plan below. I think this is mostly pavement with some dirt roads in Death Valley. Any thoughts or suggestions?

Thursday: Down 101, across Coalinga Road and overnight at Lake Isabella.

Friday: To Furnace Creek campground, visit Ballarat, Wildrose Canyon Kilns

Saturday: Loop through Beaty, Scott’s Junction, Scotty’s Castle visiting sites along the way

Sunday: Ride to Pahrump via Zabriskie Point, Twenty Muleteam Canyon, Dante’s View, Death Valley Junction and Shoshone

Monday: Ride to Bishop via Shoshone, Ashford Mill, Badwater, and Lone Pine

Tuesday: Ride to San Ramon via 395 and 88
