Thank you for your interest in becoming a member of the BMW Motorcycle Club of Northern California!

To become a full member, there are a few simple steps. Here’s the complete process:

STEP 1: Apply as an Initiate Member

Submit your application to become an Initiate Member. To qualify, you must either:

• Own a BMW motorcycle, or

• Be married to a current BMW NorCal member in good standing.

Once your application is reviewed and approved, you will receive an email confirming your initiate status.

STEP 2: Earn Full Membership

To qualify for Full Membership, you must complete the following within 6 months of your initiate approval:

• Attend two general member campout meetings, or

• Attend one official rally (such as the Range of Light or 49er Rally).

All qualifying events are listed on our Events Page.

If you do not meet the attendance requirement within the six-month window, your initiate status will expire.

Once your attendance is verified, you will become a Provisional Member and be presented for full membership approval by the club. The board will then:

• Finalize your membership

• Invoice you for the $10 initiation fee

• Include pro-rated dues through June 30 of the following year

STEP 3: Receive Your Membership Packet

After payment is received, you will be mailed your official membership packet.
