The BMW motorcycle club of Northern California met at Kevin Lindsey's
shop in San Carlos, CA for the club's second Tech Ed session. This
session included a seminar about "Periodic Final Drive Maintenance for K
and R bikes" and a hands-on "Tire Mounting Demo," which included tire
balancing and flat repair. The event was organized by NorCal's Safety
and Tech Officer, Buddy Scauzzo and member Kevin Lindsey. Sean
McMichael of "The UnDealership" motorcycle repair shop was the guest
mechanic and conducted the final drive seminar. We even had a catered
lunch, courtesy of Minako McMahon and Lorna Lindsey with Russ Drake as
cook.

Lance Meyerowich shot video on the return ride from Fort Churchill, Nevada back to the Bay area. We rode 6 Mile Canyon to Virginia City for breakfast. After breakfast, NV 431 took us out of Virginia City to Reno. Into the Sierras and onto CA 49 after The Lakes Basin yielded miles of hot twisty asphalt.
