Riding and camping Northern California and beyond, since 1965!
NOTE: Location has been changed, was Laguna Seca.
The first Norcal general meeting and campout of 2016 will be at Arroyo Seco Park, in the hills above Greenfield. We haven't used this nearby spot for a while because campfires were not allowed during the driest years. Norcal likes fires, especially in winter. And it is winter, so be sure to bring your warm sleeping bag.
We start at Flames Coffee Shop, 7170 Santa Teresa Boulevard, San Jose; breakfast at 8:00, leave at 9:00. The driving time will be about 3 hours, and the direct route home will be 3/4 hour shorter. There is no food service, so we'll stop in Carmel Valley in case riders want to grocery shop. There are big BBQ pits and a smaller fire ring. Firewood is available at a price, but if anyone is bringing a car some extra would be appreciated. There is a boil order, so bring plenty of water.
The camping fee is $10 for dues-paying members and $20 for guests.
Watch Meetup or the Norcal web page for late weather-related news.
