This Month we're heading out to Hat Creek, in the shadows of Mount Lassen. Hat Creek Campground is located at Old Station, CA 96071. 

We've got a really great route, one that by-passes the park fees and lines at Lassen Park. But, it's a little longer, so we're meeting for breakfast at Black Bear Diner at Woodland. We should be arriving with enough time to get in a little fly fishing so be sure to pack your rod. 

Grocery shopping in the area is limited so plan ahead.
