We made the difficult decision to cancel this month's Oktoberfest event given the fires, smoke and expected wind storms with widespread power outages. It was a difficult decision as we had an outstanding event planned and given the late decision, finding a new location for our size group was not possible.  We will be looking into planning a similar type event for one of our upcoming monthly meetings. The Club will process refunds shortly.  Stay safe. 

In the meantime some members have gone up to Liberty Glen and are reporting favorable conditions with the wind taking the smoke elsewhere. They also report that they are the only ones in the whole campground so the site that is reserved for Saturday is also open for Friday. Feel free to take advantage if you still want to camp. But there is no planned club events, just a free site for camping. Enjoy!
