January Meeting George Hatfield Group Campsite

Our original campsite at Arroyo Grande was canceled due to tree issues so we booked the George Hatfield Group Campsite located on the Merced River in Hilmar just west of Gustine.  The ride will start at the Ranch House Cafe in Moraga (1012 School St, Moraga, CA 94556) and head South via Redwood Road, Palomeres Road and Mines Road where we can stop for lunch at the Junction assuming it’s open.  Then we head East via Del Puerto Canyon Road.  We can stop at Wolfsen's Meat and Sausage to pick up a nice piece of meat or sausage for dinner and end up at Hatfield Group Site. Pretty sure you will be impressed by the selection of sausages at Wolfsen. 

We have a waitlist now but there are 20 individal sites we can use but they are first come first serve.  It's highly unlikely there will not be space in January so put your name on the waitlist. 

The ride is 125 miles and should take about 4 hours not including any stops.  Please show up with a full tank of gas.  Also either download the route to your GPS unit, use the Rever route or familiarize yourself with the route.  Do not depend on someone else to get you to your destination.
