July Club Meeting Soppiago Springs

Our original campsite for the July meeting is closed for safety reasons.  We are now headed to Soppiago Springs, a great  private campground off Highway 88 near Cooks Station in the El Dorado National Forest.  Plus we put together a Three Pass Ride over Sonora, Monitor and Carson! Because this is a private campsite, the cost is significantly more than a public site.  The cost is $5 for Full Members and $15 for Rally Members and Guests. 

The breakfast is at Squeeze In 3020 Floyd Ave #101, Modesto.  They have a fantastic breakfast menu.  The ride 225 miles and will take 5+ hours without stops so be prepared to leave right at 9 AM sharp with a full tank of gas and knowledge of the route, destination and stopping points even though it's a pretty simple route.  Route Sheets and GPS files will be provided after registration. 

There are only general stores along the route so if you are looking for a larger grocery store plan to ride into Meyers or Bridgeport.  There are two restaurants close by the campsite.  Ham's Station normally is cooking excellent BBQ on the weekend.  Cook's Station is a great place for breakfast.
