We have booked the Plaskeet Creek Group Site for two days. February 20 to 22. The Club ride is Saturday, Feb 21.
08:00 AM: Meet for breakfast at Pilot Light, in Half Moon Bay on Saturday with a full tank of gas and enjoy a great meal and conversation with the crew before we head out.
09:00 AM Sharp: Kickstands Up. We leave on time—don't be the one chasing the pack!
We’ll head south, primarily hugging Highway 1, with several strategic offshoots into the Coastal Range to hit those legendary motorcycling roads.
Mid-Way Stop: We’re stopping at the famous Freedom Meat Locker. Grab a quick lunch and pack some of their iconic sausage or tri-tip for your dinner tonight. (Note: If you need standard supplies, there is a Safeway right around the corner).
Fuel Strategy: We will stop for a gas top-off in Carmel to ensure everyone has a full tank before we hit the newly reopened stretch through Big Sur.
The View: If the coastal fog behaves and the skies are clear, we’ll make a special stop at Nepenthe for one of the most iconic vistas in California.
To keep the group moving and safe, please ensure you arrive with:
A Full Tank: Start with a full load of fuel at Pilot Light.
Navigation Ready: Have the GPS routes loaded and functional on your device.
Route Knowledge: Review the map beforehand so you are familiar with the turns and stops.
Total Distance: ~185 Miles
Duration: Approx. 6 Hours
Let’s twist the throttle and welcome back the best road in the world. See you at Pilot Light!
