Our club ride kicks off on Saturday with breakfast at 8:30 AM at Wizard's Café, located at the Corbin Custom Seat Factory in Hollister. This later start accommodates the drive to Hollister and the café's opening hours. While waiting for your meal, you might even browse for a new custom seat! Please arrive with a full tank of gas, your GPX files loaded, and a general familiarity with the route. We plan to depart promptly at 9:15 AM.
Our route to Kirch Flat is an exciting 210-mile journey, anticipated to take around 5 hours of riding. We'll start by cruising along Panoche Road to the Central Valley, then transition to smaller roads leading to the outskirts of Fresno for a lunch stop at Westwoods BBQ. After a satisfying meal, we'll enjoy scenic, twisty roads through the foothills of the Sierra Range before arriving at Kirch Flat Group Campsite. Our final stop before camp will be a grocery store in Prather, approximately 90 minutes from the campground, to grab any last-minute provisions. Expect to roll into camp between 3:30 PM and 4:00 PM.
