Just become a member and enjoyed the 49er in Quincy this year. I took the beginner ADV Class from Rawhyde Adventure with Rob Glass. I have tons of off road experience being a dirt bike rider since I was 14. I'm now 68 and want to do an overnight ADV ride maybe the Lost Coast ride northern Calif. I've seen YouTube videos with 4X4's doing the route and looks safe and sane for an ADV ride. Looking for interest from club members for a ride sometime in September?

Welcome to NorCal!  I would encourage you to sign up for the Range of Light Gypsy Tour at the end of Sep over Labor Day weekend, if you have not already registered.  It's always a lot of fun and a good way to meet a lot of like-minded motorcycle enthusiasts and enjoy some roads that you may have not traveled in the past. You never know, the "Lost Coast" may even be part of the route this year, but part of the fun is finding out where the ROL Gypsy Tour takes you and where you end up each day.  The club does a great job of putting on the event.  I look forward to it every year.
