I commuted daily and had mixed results with my transponder...but most of the time it would work inside my aerostich check pocket. Otherwise velcro somewhere would be a good way. I've done that too.

I think you need to get another transponder. Sounds like its faulty to me. If you call Fastrack you may be able to get an exchange

I commute daily on 880 and use the Express Lanes.  My transponder is in a pocket on my left sleeve switched to the "3" position but is not being read.   I am being charged from my license plate as if I were driving solo in the HOV lane without a transponder.  I dispute the charges every month with an explanation that this plate is registered to a motorcycle with a transponder switched to the 3 position and mounted on top of the motorcycle and in plain sight.  Sometimes they reverse the charges but usually they call, leave a voice mail for me to call back.  The call back number goes to a VM box.  I leave all of the requested information in a VM but never receive a call back or charges reversed.  I am beyond frustrated.

Friends say they don't even use a transponder and never get charged.

Anyone have a good suggestions for a mounting position for the transponder where it won't be stolen while parked on the street in SF and Oakland but will be picked up by the Fastrack readers?
